Investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has pleaded with popular music executive Michael Collins Ajereh, known as Don Jazzy, to provide her with a cash handout of $100,000, equivalent to ₦150,000,000, to revitalize her media career. VeryDarkMan initially raised concerns on social media after receiving the donation to support his NGO, which focuses on community development and improving public schools.
Reacting to Don Jazzy’s goodwill, Kemi in a post on Instagram appealed $100,000 to enable her start her media organisation which she said will be censorship free.
“VDM don cause Wahala. @DONJAZZY me nko? Come help me open my own media house censorship FREE. Nigerians want me back in journalism after 30 years February 1994-2024. Everyone can donate below,” she captioned a video sh shared on her Instagram page. VeryDarkMan says he currently has raised close to ₦200 million just days after days he launched the account.
