Former Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has lamented the declining value of integrity in Nigeria, stating that it has become increasingly rare among the populace. Osinbajo emphasized the essential role of integrity in achieving true success, urging attendees to embrace this virtue.

“What are some of the critical must-haves for real success? The first is integrity,” he declared.

“While it might sound like a cliché today, integrity is the cornerstone of genuine achievement.”

He urged individuals to remain true to their word, stating, “Let your yes be yes and your no be no. Be consistent in applying high moral values. If you borrow money, make sure to pay it back. Avoid making promises you cannot keep. Integrity pays, but it is becoming harder to find among people today.”

The former Vice President underscored that those with integrity are highly sought after, even by those with less honorable intentions.

“Even criminals seek out trustworthy individuals to safeguard their stolen assets,” he noted.

“Life is a marathon, not a sprint.
