Presiding judge Deinde Dipeolu convicted Munju based on the presented facts and exhibits.

During sentencing, Benson Ndakara, Munju’s counsel, pleaded for leniency, stating, “We plead for leniency on behalf of the convict, my lord. The convict pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity by not wasting the precious time of the court and has been very remorseful.” Judge Dipeolu then sentenced her to six years in prison on the first count and five years on the second, with an option to pay N50 million per count, amounting to a total of N100 million.. ..ALSO READ FULL FROM SOURCE ↔️
