Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Prophet Odumeje (Indaboski Bahose), has weighed in on the conversations surrounding Afrobeat singer David Adeleke, well known as Davido’s Grammy loss at the 68th Grammy Awards.

The prophet, in a viral message, reacted to Davido’s defeat in the Best African Music Performance category, urging the Afrobeats star not to let the setback affect his happiness, declaring:

“Don’t allow ordinary iron somebody cut to quench the fire of your joy. Go out there and gt more inspiration to show the world another new music,” he said.

Davido had been nominated for “With You” featuring Omah Lay, but the award went to South African singer Tyla for “Push 2 Start.”

The result left many Nigerian fans disappointed and reignited debates about Grammy politics and African music representation.

In the viral sermon clip, Odumeje praised Davido as a “generational winner,” insisting that his global success, sold-out tours, cultural influence, and business empire outweigh any single award.
