Sowore expressed his general disdain for non-performers, placing Peter Obi in that category.
During The Honest Bunch podcast, Sowore mentioned the money Peter Obi claimed to have left in the coffers of the Anambra government during his time as governor.
Sowore pointed out that Obi’s successor Willie Obiano exposed these claims as false.
He noted that people tend to overlook Obi’s failures because he is a favourite.
“Before you discovered Peter Obi, I was already running for president, and now because I look small, Ah, Peter Obi is… I say na packaging. Nobody knows how to package things.
If I join Peter Obi, I will be going against what I have always stood for, which is that I would never support a Nigerian leader who has been president, governor, chairman, or local government councilor before, whom I considered non-performing.
It’s the same reason I would never have joined hands with Atiku. And the Peter Obi you are talking about was vice president to Atiku when I was the presidential candidate in 2019. Peter Obi or not, there is no lesser evil in my books.
If you’re evil, you’re evil. If you’re good, you’re good. But I am not interfering with people who have emotional attachments. So, I have a general disdain for non-performers.”Do You Want To See The Video Of This Content?
