This dispute arose after MC Oluomo was announced as the NURTW President following an election conducted in Osogbo, Osun State.
However, an Appeal Court Judgement deemed the election invalid.
In a unanimous decision delivered on November 8, 2024, the appellate court upheld the ruling of the National Industrial Court, Abuja, from March 11, confrming the re-election of Baruwa as the National President of the NURTW.
