The gesture came from Dattuwa Ali Kumo, the deputy national treasurer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who expressed appreciation for Shamsuddeen’s determination. Shamsuddeen explained that his journey was a show of support for Dattuwa Kumo, citing the APC leader’s leadership and philanthropic activities in Gombe.

He also urged Dattuwa to consider running for the Gombe State gubernatorial seat in 2027, citing his strong political potential.
