PSC Head, Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, who disclosed this in a press statement, Tuesday in Abuja, said: the second Plenary Meeting of the PSC under the leadership of th3 Commission Chairman, DIG Hashimu Argungu (retd.), entered day two with the promotion of another 78 senior police officers.
He said, “At today’s Plenary, the Officers were also subjected to Written and oral examinations. During the oral interview, issues such as problems of logistics and manpower were identified as one of the manifest handicaps in most of the Police Departments, Zones, States, Areas and Divisional Commands.

The spokesperson listed the ACPs elevated to the next rank of DCPs to include: Area Commander, Ihiala, Anambra state, Christopher Bassey Uweh; AC Ops, Zone 2 Lagos, Abdulrahaman Usman; Area Commander, Agbara, Ogun state, Baba Mallam Alhaji; Commander 59 PMF Bajoga, Aminu Ado Aliyu; ,Area Commander Ikoli Ekiti, Salau Mohammed Jimoh; BPU, Kwara state, Mohammed Lariski Musa; and Area Commander Kontagora, Niger state, Makuliso Baba Umar.
Others include; Shaibu Bello ofINEC Headquarters, Abuja; Area Commander Ayetoro, Ogun state, Lawrence Iwodi; DFA, Nasarawa state, Arabia Ashe Mohammed; Ali Garba Agbo of Welfare, Force Headquarters, Abuja; Commander 51 PMF Oghara, Halilu Muawiyah; Area Commander, Gusau, Zamfara state, Sani JA’Afar Ahmed; Ado Ibrahim of SCID, Delta State Command; Commander 35 PMF, Dutse, Abubakar Ardo; and Assistant Director OPS, North Central Zone, Mohammed Usman Modibbo.
Others are; Area Commander Ilesha, Osun state, Yusuf S. Taiwo; Area Commander, Tambuwal, Sokoto state, Bashiru Abdullahi; DFA, Zone 4 Makurdi, Ahmadu Bello Garba; Paul Dung of State CID, Enugu; and Area Commander Ogidi, Anambra state David Nonyelum Osuani.
