In a statement, the Edo APC alleged that Ighodalo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, was planning to mobilize thugs loyal to him to disrupt the tribunal proceedings and create chaos at the court. The APC youths warned that any attempt to cause disturbances would be met with strong opposition.

They emphasized that Edo voters had already expressed their preference at the polls by voting for Governor Monday Okpebholo, and any effort to subvert the electoral outcome through violence or intimidation would be firmly resisted.

Mr. Kelly Okungbowa, a member of the APC youth wing, urged the IGP to intervene and ensure that Ighodalo’s supporters refrain from any unlawful actions. “We call on the IGP to warn the PDP candidate and his supporters that any unruly behavior will have consequences. We urge him to ensure the rule of law is upheld and to protect the tribunal’s proceedings from any disruption,” Okungbowa stated.

Mr. Monday Irabor, another youth leader from the APC, emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and order. He reiterated that Nigeria’s democracy is built on respect for judicial processes and the rule of law. “We stand by our electoral choice and will not allow intimidation or unlawful tactics to undermine the will of the people,” Irabor said. “We appeal to the PDP and its candidate to respect the peace and allow the court to determine the outcome of the election.”WATCH THE VIDEO HOW SHE THREW HIM| YOUNG MOTHER THREW HER 10 MONTH OLD BABY INTO DELTA RIVER| POLICE FUMES AS SHE WAS ARRESTED.
