The operation led to the arrest of four individuals connected to the illegal cultivation, and investigations are currently underway.

This development was disclosed by the NDLEA Ogun State Commandant, Tijani Rabe, during a press conference in Abeokuta on Thursday, where he highlighted the agency’s achievements in its 2024 performance report. Rabe confirmed that a total of 675 drug offenders had been arrested in the year, underscoring the state’s commitment to combating illicit drug activities.

These efforts reached an estimated 27,648 individuals, educating the public on the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of prevention.

Rabe also revealed that the agency had successfully secured 221 convictions against drug offenders in 2024, highlighting the effectiveness of the justice system in holding individuals accountable for drug-related crimes.WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: WHY YOU MUST NOT FAIL TO HAVE $EX BY 12PM.
