THE BENEFIT WILL SHOCK YOU| NO 5 IS VERY COMPULSORY.In a post shared on X, Omokri commended the current government, calling it the first yuletide season in Nigeria’s history without fuel scarcity or long fuel queues. He also highlighted that food, though costly, is readily available, and noted other achievements such as the export of refined petroleum products to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Additionally, he pointed out the free interstate public transportation for the holiday period, the payment of the new minimum wage to federal workers, and the absence of major terrorist attacks outside conflict zones.
Omokri wrote: “This is the first Yuletide season in the history of Nigeria where the following things are co-occurring: Fuel price has reduced, there are no fuel queues or petrol scarcity, and for the first time, Nigeria is exporting refined petroleum products to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Food is costly but very much available. The Federal Government-owned interstate public transport has been made free for the duration of the holidays.
The new Minimum Wage is being paid to federal workers. And there have been no incidents of terrorism or insecurity outside the theatres of operation, which, in itself, is reducing in territory, even as both Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa, who have been behind much of the instability in the Southeast of Nigeria, are behind bars.”
He concluded by acknowledging that while Nigeria may not yet be where it wants to be, things are improving in many areas, offering Nigerians reasons to be optimistic this season.
However, Frank Edoho sharply disagreed with Omokri’s assessment, expressing his frustration over the low bar being set for progress. Edoho wrote, “We are so third world that the absence of fuel queues and fuel scarcity in a so-called oil-producing country is regarded as a sign that things are getting better. Reno, please stop.”WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: WHY YOU MUST NOT FAIL TO HAVE $EX BY 12PM. THE BENEFIT WILL SHOCK YOU| NO 5 IS VERY COMPULSORY.
Edoho’s response reflects a broader discontent with the state of affairs in Nigeria, particularly the perception that basic infrastructure and services, such as fuel supply, are being celebrated as major achievements despite the country’s status as an oil producer..Tap To Read The Full Story Here.
