According to a representative from the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) at the Ado-Ekiti Motor Terminal, the gunmen abducted the driver, Sunday Emmanuel, along with several other passengers, demanding a ransom of ₦30 million per person for their release.
The informant, who spoke on condition of anonymity, revealed that the kidnappers abandoned some children on the bus, and their cries alerted passersby. The discovery was made early Monday morning, prompting a report to the nearest police station.
The assailants reportedly drove the bus into a nearby forest, forcing the passengers off the vehicle and into the bush. They contacted the family of the driver and, after a brief conversation, requested the ransom. However, they have not followed up as promised.
In an additional development, two passengers managed to escape during the night before the police arrived and recovered the vehicle. The informant also mentioned that the driver’s union in Ado-Ekiti is currently holding a meeting to discuss possible strategies to contact the kidnappers and negotiate the release of the hostages.V!EW BEFORE THEY GOT DELETED| Baltazar FROM Equatorial Guinea TRENDS AGAIN AS OVER 50 OF HIS FRESH BEDR00M V!DEOS SVRFACES ONLINE.
