It was gathered that the fight between the two terrorist camps took place in the northern part of Borno State.

According to a renowned security analyst, Zagazola Makama, the clash between the two camps resulted in casualties and the capture of some equipment.

Makama also noted that the clash between the camps took place on December 23 and 24, 2024.

He said the Boko Haram terrorists targetted known strongholds belonging to  ISWAP in Toumbun Gini, Mangari, Toumbun Saje, and Metele.

He also said scores of ISWAP members died after they were overpowered by Boko Haram fighters.
