Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has been named in the Turkish Super Lig Team of the Week following his recent debut.
The 25-year-old made his first appearance for Galatasaray in their 5-0 thumping of Rizespor last Saturday, September 14.
Having completed his loan move from Napoli before the international break, the Super Eagles striker was handed a starting role against Rizespor and assisted the second goal of the game.
The reigning African Footballer of the Year also registered seven shots on target, more than any player in the Super Lig this season.
Osimhen completed eight of the nine passes he attempted, giving him a passing efficiency of 73%, with two of those passes creating shooting opportunities, as per Completesports.
