“Rules Are Rules” – Lawyer Stan Alieke Explains Why Corps Member Who Criticized Government Is Wrong According To “Employment Policy”

Former lawyer to singer Speed Darlington, Stan Alieke, has shared his thoughts on the issue of the NYSC member who shared a video expressing her frustration at President Tinubu and the state of the Nigerian economy.

In a post shared on his Instastories, Alieke said that rules are rules and went on to explain why the corps member may have erred by violating “employment policy.”

He averred that a corps member is an employee of the government who earns some stipends from the government and so as per employment policy, is restricted from saying some things against their employer which is the government.

He went on to say that his candid advice to the corper is that she should know this fact and not let herself be misled by social media support.
