Shocking Evidence Revealed In NYSC Member’s Murder Trial: Severed Head, Video Footage Shown in Court

The murder trial of slain NYSC member Salome Adaidu took a chilling turn on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, as the Nasarawa State High Court admitted shocking new evidence, including a video recording of her dismembered remains. Prosecutors in Lafia presented seven additional exhibits, strengthening the case against 32-year-old singer Oluwatimileyin Daniel Ajayi, the primary suspect.

A police officer, testifying as a fresh witness, submitted key exhibits, including a mobile phone containing footage of six polythene bags allegedly used to conceal the victim’s dismembered body. Prosecutors also displayed Adaidu’s severed head, reportedly recovered from the suspect’s bathroom and bedroom. Justice Simon Aboki adjourned proceedings until noon to allow the court to review the disturbing video evidence.
