The 24-year-old joined the Blues from Premier League rivals Manchester United on a season-long loan on transfer deadline day.
The signing of Sancho came as a surprise to many fans, as the England international had fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
Sancho, who was not involved in Manchester United’s first two Premier League games against Fulham and Brighton, was phenomenal after coming on as a substitute for Chelsea against Bournemouth last weekend.
The former Borussia Dortmund star was voted Man of the Match after assisting Christopher Nkunku to score the only goal of the game.
Speaking on his podcast show, former Super Eagles midfielder, Mikel Obi, threw his weight behind the Englishman to do well under new Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca.
