The error, which was contained in a press statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, has led to widespread confusion.
Hon. Meseko was listed as the chairman of NBRRI at number 21 on the list, while Hon. Inuwa was also designated as chairman at number 41.
President Tinubu, in the original statement, stated that the roles of board chairpersons are non-executive and warned against interference in the day-to-day management of the agencies.
However, the directive risks being overshadowed by the conflicting appointments.
