As of 9:30 am Sunday, September 22, the electoral body had uploaded 98 per cent – which constitutes 4454 out of 4519 – of the expected election results onto its IREV.
Only four local government areas have complete results so far, with their numbers fully uploaded and they are the Owan East, Esan South East, Esan North East and Igueben.
This is as the suspension of the collation of the results at the INEC collation centre has led to tension between the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the leading opposition All Progressives Congress (APC).
