Ariana Grande has not ruled out the possibility of a “Wicked 3,” but Singapore has shut the door on a clout chaser who grabbed her during a “Wicked: For Good” event. The incident involved 26-year-old Johnson Wen, who jumped onto the red carpet on November 13 and rushed at the singer, prompting Cynthia Erivo to step in and shield her co-star.

The Straits Times reports that Wen was deported from Singapore on Sunday and barred from re-entering the country. Prosecutors described him as a “serial intruder,” and a judge found that he had planned the stunt in an attempt to make a viral social media video.

Wen pled guilty to one charge of being a public nuisance and received a nine-day jail sentence. But he appeared unfazed by the punishment, posting photos after his release and even thanking Ariana Grande for allowing him to “Jump on the Yellow Carpet” with her.

Wen’s Instagram page shows that this was not the first time he forced himself into proximity with celebrities. He has previously jumped onstage to get close to Katy Perry and The Weeknd.
