“This Hearing Is Crucial”, Nnamdi Kanu’s Counsel Announces As Trial Holds Today

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, founder of IPOB, is standing trial before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court of Abuja. He is accused of terrorism.

Kanu is championing the severance of the South East from the Nigerian federation over alleged marginalisation. He was arrested in Kenya in 2021, and renditioned to Nigeria, and has since then been in the custody of the Department of State Services.

Ejimakor notified the public about the hearing of Kanu versus Federal Government in a short notice he sent to THE WHISTLER.

He wrote, “Public Notice: As was previously scheduled, the hearing of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case will be held today (24th Sept) at 10am instead of 12 noon as was done before. “The venue is the same Federal High Court, Abuja.
