Okpebholo, the winner of the September 21 Edo State elections, was seen dancing alongside Deputy Governor-elect Dennis Idahosa, former Governor of Edo State Comrade Adams, and other chieftains of the APC.

During the event, he stated that the people of Edo have chosen a path of development, progress, and prosperity by electing him as their next governor.

The victory celebration began in Irrua, Edo Central Senatorial District, the hometown of the governor-elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo, before moving to Iyamho in Etsako West Local Government Area in Edo North. Here, prominent APC members, including the governor-elect and his deputy, expressed their gratitude to God and the people of Edo for their support for the APC.

Okpebholo mentioned that he would reward the people’s trust by focusing on fixing substantial infrastructure across Edo State.

Senator Monday Okpebholo and Dennis Idahosa will officially take office as governor and deputy governor, respectively, following the conclusion of the current governor, Godwin Obaseki’s, tenure.
