Melaye, a former gubernatorial candidate, has shared photos of his mansion, cars, and visuals from a recent trip outside the country in the past week.

Critics believe all the money he used to fund his “lavish” lifestyle is from the federal government.

In response, he said, “When I was in government, some ‘olodos’ said it was government money. I left the government 5 years ago, and they still say it’s government money. I am making geometric and arithmetic progress at all levels. You are still on 1k data, talking nonsense. Borrow some sense. SDM.”

Recall that Melaye was called out after he showcased the new look of his Abuja home.

The video, shared on his social media pages on Thursday, June 6, 2024, displayed multiple luxurious cars parked in the compound of his mansion.

Captioning the video, Dino Melaye wrote, “Entrance, Façade, and the entire residence of Dino Melaye’s mansion in Abuja wearing a new look.”

Nigerians reacting to the viral video claimed that the former lawmaker is flaunting his wealth more recklessly than the immediate past governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, who was under investigation for embezzlement by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In the recent governorship election on November 11, 2023, Melaye was the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Kogi State.

The former lawmaker garnered 46,362 votes, placing behind Usman Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Murtala Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), who scored 446,237 and 259,052 votes, respectively...ĊONTINUE.THE FULL R£ĄÐING.>’.
