All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain Among Three Killed in Suspected Cult Clash

UTWEETS reports that Oladipo, 52, widely known as “Fissy,” was attacked at his residence in the Ehin-Ogbe area of Owo around 2:00 a.m. by individuals believed to be members of the Eiye confraternity.

Sources revealed that the assailants had followed Oladipo home after he returned from a nightclub before shooting him in the chest. In addition to his death, two other unidentified young men were also killed during the violent incident.

One source described the tragic event: “He [Oladipo] was trailed to his house in Ehin-Ogbe and shot immediately in the chest. Sporadic gunshots followed, and it’s a tragic loss for the community.”

The bodies of the victims have been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) morgue in Owo.

The Commander of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Ondo State, Oluyemi Ibiloye, confirmed the incident and assured residents that security forces were working to restore calm in the affected area.

“Our men are on the ground with heavy deployment, assisting other security agencies. The situation is under control, and we await further updates from officials,” Ibiloye stated.
