Anti-wrinkle cream slashed to £5 on Amazon ‘plumps up skin’ and ‘feels expensive’

Shoppers are raving about an affordable moisturiser that has just been discounted on Amazon.

Skincare and beauty lovers can shop Amazon’s beauty section to find the latest additions, or those looking for a bargain can find the best and most current deals on the retail giant’s today’s deals page.

Amazon has slashed the price of the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Day Cream by more than half price, and skincare fans can now buy it for £5.70.

The deal’s available for four days, but as one of the Amazon’s Choice products and a bestseller, the deal could prove popular.

Whether you have a ten-stage skincare routine or prefer to keep it simple with fewer products and a less is more approach, a good moisturiser is an essential.

L’Oréal’s cream helps to reverse visible signs of ageing and prevent future skin damage.

It contains SPF 30 to protect against harmful UV rays which can cause premature lines, wrinkles and dark spots, while the retinol content helps to stimulate skin cell renewal, even and firm skin texture and reduce fine lines.

Although customers have commented on how hydrating the product is, some said that they found it too thick to wear makeup on top of, and prefer using it as a night cream.

Shoppers are reviewing the cream, with some saying it ‘makes skin lovely and soft’.

Fairy Donuts commented: ”Always go to this brand, it makes my skin lovely and soft, plumps it up better than many other creams and it has SPF. I also have sensitive skin with no reactions using this. Defo recommend.”

Jacqueline also added: ”Very buttery and moisturising, but not a great base for make-up. My concealer did not sit well on top of this moisturiser, and it made my face feel and look too shiny/greasy. You know how some products make your make-up congeal/ball up, this had that effect… I have kept it to use as my night moisturiser.”
