In a statement delivered on Tuesday in Lokoja, Kogi State, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Durosinmi Meseko, encouraged citizens to maintain optimism, asserting that 2025 would bring better days ahead for the country.

Meseko highlighted the various economic strategies introduced by President Bola Tinubu, emphasizing that the positive outcomes of these policies would begin to materialize in the coming year. “The policies of President Tinubu are already laying the foundation for a more prosperous Nigeria,” Meseko said. “We can expect to see tangible results in 2025, with enhanced economic conditions benefiting all Nigerians.”

Meseko also called on citizens to continue supporting the government’s reforms, assuring them that the APC remains committed to addressing the country’s economic and security challenges. “Let us remain steadfast in our belief that brighter days are ahead,” he added, expressing confidence that the APC government’s economic reforms would significantly improve the lives of ordinary citizens by 2025.

Meanwhile, in Rivers State, Governor Siminalayi Fubara has approved a ₦100,000 Christmas bonus for civil servants, public servants, and pensioners. The announcement, made on Tuesday by the state’s Head of Service, Dr. George Nwaeke, marks the second consecutive year civil servants in the state will receive the bonus, which exceeds the national minimum wage. This year, for the first time, pensioners have also been included in the initiative.

Governor Fubara, in his own Christmas message, urged Rivers residents to embrace peace, love, and unity during the holiday season and beyond. Through a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, Fubara emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence in addressing the country’s broader economic and security challenges.
