Because the ICJ won’t stop Netanyahu from eliminating Hamas, SA loses its bid in the genocide case against Israel

The International Court of Justice (ICJ), the highest court of the United Nations, has rendered a decision regarding the interim injunction in a genocidal complaint against Israel. Benjamin Netanyahu and his forces have been charged by South Africa of killing Palestinians in Gaza.

The 17-member panel of justices, the majority of whom were from nations that supported the Gaza cease-fire, decided that Israel should use all available means to lessen the number of genocidal acts committed during the conflict with Hamas, but not to end it.

According to Euronews report, the President of the court, Justice Joan E. Donoghue said that the court is aware of what is unfolding in the region and how the war has adversely affected the people of Palestine and severe loss of life.

However, it sets 6 points measures for Benjamin Netanyahu in a bid to address human rights violation and to allow UN’s aid to enter Gaza. Although after the ruling, the Zionist Prime Minister vowed to intensify in offensive military annihilation of Hamas so that the replica of October 7th attack will not repeat itself in the future.

Even the SA that instituted the lawsuit against Israel were not comfortable enough with the ruling because they were wholeheartedly expecting the court to give orders that would halt every military operation in Gaza. When they accused Israel of committing genocide against Palestinians, they refused to reprimand Hamas for being a terrorist organisation.

Now that the highest court in the world has even said it is aware of what is going on, and in the process asking Netanyahu not to halt the operation rather should take measures to reduce genocidal acts in Gaza. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>
