Engineer Ojo, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, disclosed in a statement made available to newsmen that he is ready to renew his interest in the Ekiti State Governorship race in 2026.

Engr. Ojo said he is setting up an explorative committee of notable men and women in his bid to run for APC governorship Ticket, and subsequent Governorship Election  in  2026.

Ojo expressed his desire to use his wealth of experience, exposure, and contacts around the world to make  Ekiti, an investment destination.

He also  described the coalition against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election as a failed project.

According to him, the opposition politicians behind the plot are lacking the clout and national appeal to win the people’s confidence and support.

While applauding the President for the declaration of a State of Emergency in Rivers State, Ojo said Tinubu, as a patriot and nation builder, would not sit back and allow any individual or group to destroy the nation’s oil infrastructures.

According to him, the President’s action was not only apt and timely,  but necessary  to restore peace and security in the oil rich state.

The APC chieftain therefore urged  the peace loving Nigerians to continue to support the president to enable him to implement the people’s centric policies and programmes that will usher in economic prosperity…CONTINUE READING>>
