Mrs. Florence’s averment followed her husband’s insinuations that the suspended Governor Fubara played a major role in sparking the attacks on critical oil and gas facilities in the state.

Recall that Mrs. Nweke had alleged in a distress video that her husband has been under so much pressure to implicate the Governor of Rivers state by signing a document claiming that the Governor kept inappropriated N15 billion aside.

She added that after the pressure, her husband was invited to Abuja by his friend Henry Ogiri where she believes, he has been coerced to do the press statement against his will.

However, anonymous sources close to the Nweke’s family, had disclosed that Mrs. Nweke has been receiving threats in an attempt to force her to change her testimony, which could potentially derail the truth.
