The unveiling, held on Friday, was performed by the General Officer Commanding, Division 1, Maj-Gen. Mayirenso Lander Saraso.

The Acting Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, Division 1, Nigerian Army, Lt. Col. Musa Yahaya, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday in Kaduna.

Speaking at the event, Saraso said the project aligned with the Chief of Army Staff’s philosophy to transform the Nigerian Army into a well-trained, equipped, and highly motivated force.

Sarasota also applauded the Air Officer Commanding Air Training Command, Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Abdullahi, for all the support given to the Regiment by the Air Component of the erstwhile Operation Whirl Punch and solicited for continuous support and collaboration to Operation Fansan Yamma, and the Commander Nigerian Army Space Command, Brig. Gen. Goodluck Ugeleka, for their support.

The Acting Commanding Officer of NARPAS, Major Peter Efe, expressed gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff for approving the construction of the accommodation and promised to maintain it.

Efe while going down memory lane, stated that the Regiment commenced its operations two years ago (2022), with accommodation being one of their constraints until the Army Chief graciously approved the construction of the 12 cabins unit accommodation for the Regiment. The project, he said, started on December 24, 2022, and was completed on August 2, 2024.…For More READ THE FULL STORY ▶▶
