Rev Fr Michael Abang Obi, a Catholic priest, has narrowly escaped d3ath.
He escaped death when his car exploded in Ogoja Local Government Area of Cross River State.
Rev. Obi, is the Administrator in charge of St Joseph de Worker Parish, Bansara; and Vicar for Priests, Catholic Diocese of Ogoja.
It was gathered that the incident happened on New Year ‘s Eve when he stopped to give directions to a Reverend Sister and her group.
Narrating his lucky escape, Rev. Obi said he got into the car and was about to drive off when it exploded.
“I witnessed a wedding at a close-by parish. I drove back to my parish. On entering the parish premises I saw a Rev. Sr. with her group fetching firewood in the school compound.
