The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested Mohammed Sani, a suspected key drug supplier allegedly fueling banditry in Niger State, as part of a sweeping nationwide crackdown.

Sani, 33, was arrested in Kuta, Shiroro LGA, after evading capture for three weeks.
He is accused of being a primary distributor of drugs to bandits in Shiroro and surrounding areas.
NDLEA had previously raided his home in November, seizing 471.8kg of skunk.

The agency also uncovered a codeine syrup factory in Abia State, seizing over 9,000 bottles.

Operations targeted tramadol, methamphetamine, skunk, and cannabis across multiple regions.
