This comes after photos and images of Obi’s visit to Babalola emerged online following the arrest of human rights activist Dele Farotimi.
As part of the visit to Ekiti state, Obi also had some sessions with the detained activist Dele Farotimi in prison on Monday evening.
Reacting to the visit on his Twitter handle on Monday night, Sowore wrote: “I condemn those who went to ‘beg’ Chief Afe Babalola today over the unjust detention and persecution of Dele Farotimi. Reports indicate that Obi was arranged by a prominent Yoruba leader to find an amicable resolution to the legal issue between Babalola and Farotimi.
