On Tuesday, September 10, the Alau Dam in northeastern Nigeria’s Borno state collapsed. A few hours later, floods submerged a greater part of the communities.

This incident resulted in the loss of lives and properties, leaving many residents homeless.

Meanwhile, there has been a massive influx of donations from within Nigeria and around the world, supporting the victims of the flood.

However, residents have been seen struggling to provide for themselves and their families since the flooding occurred.

The video has elicited reactions from Nigerians on social media.
