Nze Mathias, originally from Oba in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, passed away at the age of 72. Known to have shared a close relationship with his father-in-law, Chief Orabuchi not only cared for him during his life but also built a notable residence for him and supported those close to him.
The casket, made of copper with a mirror finish, features a luxurious white velvet interior and a full couch with a foot panel, one of the premium models from Apams. Copper is valued as a material for caskets due to its durability and the unique patina it develops over time.
The funeral was attended by prominent figures from Igboland and numerous social clubs.
