This was disclosed by the embattled husband, Johnbosco, at the Ejigbo Magistrate Court, where his wife was arraigned for allegedly using his signature to borrow money from Letshego Microfinance Bank in Egbeda area of Lagos.
Trouble was said to have started after the wife secretly went to the bank to borrow money without informing her husband, and she was given conditions which required that she will provide her husband’s details. She then forged his signature, which enabled her to collect the loan.
However, when she was unable to pay the money as agreed, the bank reported the matter to the Police at Area M Command, Idimu, in order to recover their money. During investigation, the Police discovered that Sylvia forged her husband’s signature to collect the loan.
She was found culpable after interrogation and charged before the Ejigbo Magistrate Court for the alleged offence.
During the arraignment, the Court asked the husband, who was present in Court, for amicable resolution of the matter. He then opened up and revealed that he was no longer interested in the marriage with Sylvia over her alleged adulterous life. He narrated how she deceived him and he kept other men’s children as his own biological children until he did DNA tests. He told the Court that he was not ready to stand for her. He stated that he has moved away, now living in another place and cannot remain married to her.
Consequently, she was arraigned and she pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Benedict Aigbokhan, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since she pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that she actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, K.A. Ariyo, granted her bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment while addresses will be verified by the Court.DO YOU WANT TO SEE THE VIDEO OF THIS CONTENT?
