“Dear Valued Customer, please be informed that there was a system collapse at 09:17 hrs, leading to a loss of power supply across our network. We are working closely with our partners and expect a speedy restoration of the grid. Updates will be provided as soon as power is restored,” the statement read.

Meanwhile, Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) reported that power outages experienced on Monday evening were partially restored by Tuesday morning to areas within its franchise, including parts of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

The country’s seat of power has been affected by several grid collapses since President Bola Tinubu took office on May 29, 2023.

Some areas, such as Deidei, Suleja, Lugbe, and Kuje, saw power restored by 5:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
