The president arrived at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, on board the Nigeria Air Force Airbus A330 at about 1:22 pm.

The Nigerian leader was warmly received by a host of dignitaries, including Enugu State Governor Mbah, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Abia Governor Alex Otti, and Anambra Deputy Governor, among others.

President Tinubu appeared in traditional Igbo attire.

According to a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, on Friday, President Tinubu is scheduled to commission several projects in the state, including the Enugu International Conference Center, built by the Mbah administration. Other projects to be commissioned include 30 completed and equipped Enugu Smart Green Schools, 60 completed and equipped Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres, and 90 completed urban roads in Enugu City.

The President will also commission a state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre, as well as 150 patrol vehicles fitted with AI-embedded surveillance cameras. Additionally, Tinubu will commission some of the completed rural roads during his one-day visit.STRANGE INDEED!
