The contentious rapper no longer has legal counsel after his attorney, Stan Alieke, and his law business, Law Capitol, formally broke off their relationship.
This ruling comes after Speed Darlington was recently released from prison, where he had been detained for two months due to a dispute with award-winning singer Damini Ogulu widely known as Burna Boy.
According to reports, Soeed Darlington’s legal team had put a lot of effort into getting him released.
The announcement of them severing ties was made by Stan Alieke on his social media page.
Sharing the news he wrote, “I & my law firm (Law Capitol) have officially withdrawn from legally representing Mr. Darlington Achakpo PKA Speed Darlington/Akpi and henceforth cease to act as his legal attorneys.”
Fans are wondering why the firm opted to cut ties with the controversial musician and why, despite having numerous lawyers, Speed Darlington chose to publicly praise just one of them on social media after his release.
