According to reports, Ebal suddenly slumped and was quickly rushed to the camp clinic for immediate medical attention. She was later transferred to the Federal Medical Centre in Birnin-Kebbi for more advanced treatment. Despite the efforts of medical staff to revive her, Ebal succumbed to her condition and was pronounced dead.
The Kebbi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Muhammad Fingila, confirmed the incident, expressing deep regret over the loss. In an interview with journalists in Birnin-Kebbi, Fingila stated that Ebal’s remains had been sent back to her home state of Adamawa for burial.
