The clash which occurred in Ado-Ekiti is a sequel to the death of a commercial motorcycle ticketing officer in the area.
It was gathered that the individuals involved in the clash attacked each other with dangerous weapons including knives, cutlasses and machetes leaving several people injured.
Residents who witnessed the incident said trouble started in Ado-Ekiti when the motorcycle riders also known as Okada riders accused an OPC member of being responsible for the death of the ticketing officer.
Following the resulting clash, officers of the Rapid Response Squad of the Ekiti State Police swung into action.
The spokesperson for the police in the state, Abutu Sunday said six people have been arrested for their involvement in the violent clash.
