Earlier, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, held a high-profile meeting with Wang Yi and his delegation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja.
The discussion centred on strengthening bilateral relations between Nigeria and China, with a focus on cooperation in trade, investment, health, technology, and infrastructure development.
Ambassador Tuggar reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to fostering a more resilient partnership with China. He recalled President Tinubu’s visit to China in September 2024, during which four Memoranda of Understanding were signed.
