UTWEETS reports that this announcement was made by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, in a statement on Sunday.
The trip, which follows an invitation from Mahama, will also include the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, and other senior Nigerian government officials. The inauguration will be attended by several African leaders as well.
Mahama, who previously served as the 12th president of Ghana from 2011 to 2017, was re-elected in December 2024 and will succeed President Nana Akufo-Addo, whose term ends in 2025.
