The husband, George Kalaba, was reportedly refused visitation by his family members, who grew suspicious and alerted the authorities.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the skeletal remains of George Kalaba on a bed, suggesting he had been dead for a significant period. The family members, including Sylvia and her children, Natasha (19), Sandra (22), Wendi (27), and a 15-year-old juvenile, were found locked inside the house and have since been taken into custody to assist with investigations.
