In a series of posts shared on X on Friday, March 28, 2025, Mr Macaroni lamented the level of hypocrisy being exhibited by Senator Murray-Bruce.
Mr Macaroni shared old tweets of Bruce calling out Senator Akpabio in 2018 where he accused him of orchestrating to break the laws of Nigeria with the backing of security forces.
Bruce tweeted, “I am currently at the @nassnigeria where Sen. Akpabio and the gang are orchestrating to break the laws of Nigeria, with the backing of the security forces. I call on the @USEmbassyAbuja @ngBritish @CanHCNigeria to immediately revoke their visas & that of their family members.”
However, in the recent scandal involving Akpabio and Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, Bruce publicly praised the Senate President, describing him as a man with impeachable character. According to Bruce, the South-South and Nigeria at large are fortunate to have him at the helm of affairs at the National Assembly.
The comedian and skitmaker expressed shock at Bruce’s remarks despite his previous comments condemning Akpabio years ago.
