‘Criminal Soludo’ where are you? – Simon Ekpa mocks as Biafrans defy Governor, continue Monday sit-at-home

Soludo had lamented the dwindling losses estimated at N19.6 billion in the zone every Monday.

Reacting to the development, Simon Ekpa, the self-proclaimed Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic in Exile, mocked the governor over his earlier warnings to the people.

He described Soludo as a criminal who failed to fulfil his promise. He wrote on his social media page, “The criminal Soludo, where are you? Today is Biafra Monday sit at home and your so-called state is under lockdown! Where are you? You are not keeping your promise oo.”

In another post, Ekpa wrote, “Hello Soludo, after setting up one of the market chairmen with sit at home, you killed him. Now you have abandoned the family and want to set up other people, but they are wiser now. You can’t kill Biafrans in former Anambra again. This is your so-called state today, 14.10.2024 and you didn’t come out as you promised.”

While questioning Soludo’s plan for the residents, he expressed excitement at the massive turnout of southerners who came out in Lagos State to cast their votes on the Biafra self-referendum.

“Biafra Monday sit at home today, Biafra self-referendum, Biafra vote of no confidence on Nigeria and vote of confidence on Biafra Government continue today with massive sit at home compliance.”

The sit-at-home began in August 2021, after the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, introduced this order every Monday across the South East to pressure the Nigerian government to release its detained leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The group later suspended the order, stressing that it would be implemented on days Kanu would appear in court. However, despite the suspension, residents of the five South East states of Enugu, Ebonyi, Imo, Abia and Anambra have been forced to observe the Monday sit-at-home order out of fear.…For More READ THE FULL STORY ▶▶
