In a post shared on his X page on Saturday, September 21, 2024, Momodu believes the election lacked transparency. He noted that it is unfortunate that Nigeria is unable to conduct an election.
Momodu describes it as a shame. The media mogul stated that the process of the 2024 Edo State election is distressing, disgusting and depressing.
“I’m watching different television channels and social media platforms covering the Governorship election in Edo State. I must say how distressing, disgusting and depressing it is that at this time and age we are finding it hard to conduct a simple and transparent process… SHAME,” he tweeted.
