Naomi’s arrest came after a tragic stampede at a free funfair she organized for children in Ibadan, which resulted in the deaths of 40 people.
According to a Facebook post by popular broadcast journalist Seun Aribikola, Naomi collapsed amidst the ongoing crisis and was quickly rushed to the Police Hospital at Eleyele for medical treatment. She was accompanied by the Chairman of Agidigbo FM, Hamzat, who was also involved in the incident.
