Face Masks To Remove Tanning And Get Even-Tone Skin At Home

Also known as the Festival of Colours, people celebrate Holi with tremendous delight and fervour. The victory of good over evil and the start of the spring season are commemorated on Holi. The stories of Bhakt Prahalad and Holika, two of Lord Vishnu’s devotees, are central to the Holi festivities. Playing with colours, indulging in delectable cuisine, creating rangoli designs, throwing a Holi party, dancing to musical rhythms, and much more are all part of the celebrations. While using colour is the most common way to celebrate Holi, cleaning up the colour stains on skin and hair after the festival becomes a chore.

Here are some effective hacks that can help remove Holi colour stains……

Hacks To Remove Colours

Milk And Besan

In a bowl, combine small quantities of milk and besan to form this scrub. Then, apply the mixture to your face. For five to ten minutes, keep it. Use water to scrub it out in circular strokes. After cleansing your face, use a moisturising lotion to hydrate your skin.

Turmeric Face Mask

An amazing thing that may be found in every Indian home is turmeric. Because of its medicinal and antioxidant qualities, it works well for a variety of skincare issues. In a small container, combine turmeric, apple cider vinegar, honey, and milk or yoghurt to make an efficient DIY scrub to remove colour stains. After applying it to your face, give it ten to fifteen minutes. Use mildly warm water to rinse.

Oatmeal, Lemon And Honey

A scrub with oatmeal, honey and lemon juice might be quite helpful in removing those tenacious colour markings. To make this scrub, combine oatmeal, honey, and lemon juice in a bowl and stir to combine. After putting it all over your face, let it dry. Give it a thorough massage in circular movements before washing it off.

Multani Mitti

Take two teaspoons of multani mitti and mix them with one teaspoon of lemon juice to make this pack. Combine the two ingredients and apply them to your face. This scrub will leave your skin clean and silky while eliminating all pollutants, even Holi colours.
