The event took place at the Church of the Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Port Harcourt and was attended by prominent political figures, including APC South-South National Vice Chairman Victor Giadom and Rivers PDP Chairman Aron Chukwuemeka.
During his address, Wike criticized Odili for allegedly supporting Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara in the ongoing political crisis between them. He expressed disappointment, questioning why Odili, as a former governor, would take sides instead of fostering unity.
“Must you be a trader all the time? As governor for eight years, what else are you looking for?” Wike asked, referring to Odili’s perceived involvement in the state’s political affairs.
The remarks follow Odili’s recent praise for Governor Fubara’s developmental achievements in Rivers State.
Wike also emphasized his contributions to Odili during his political career, suggesting that his actions were not reciprocated in the current situation.WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TODAY| SEE THE IMPORTED RICE THAT HAS KILLED 935k PEOPLE IN NIGERIA JUST NOW. SEE THE FULL NAMES OF VICTIMS HERE.
